Viola Delgado, artist of “Jairo’s Journey”
Viola Delgado is a prolific visual and public artist and esteemed curator, whose creative practice explores the transformation of thought into visual language. Her captivating art has been showcased locally, nationally and internationally. As a prominent public artist, her monumental works enrich spaces like DFW International Airport and DART stations. Delgado is a highly awarded artist whose influential works are held in many private collections.
"You never know. I don't have any children, but I have lots of nieces and nephews that have benefited from coming here. So I would really recommend people in the community to get involved and just take it on".
Tina Medina, artist of “Space Walk”
Tina Medina is an artist, educator and curator based in Dallas, Texas. Her artistic practice often explores themes representing Mexican American voices, notably featured in "Soy de Tejas." As co-founder of Nuestra Artist Collective, she has organized significant exhibitions of Texas women artists. Medina continuously contributes to a richer and more inclusive artistic dialogue.
“I want to help children and their families. Growing up, my own family faced situations where relatives were often in the hospital. I hope this donation makes a difference”.
Arely Morales is a distinguished visual artist from Mexico, now in Fort Worth, Texas. Her compelling portraiture explores universal themes of identity, humanity and the Latino experience in the U.S. Her work has been exhibited at institutions like The National Museum of Mexican Art and is part of public collections, including the Dallas Museum of Art.
